PetSmart Partners with Delivery Platform Skip

The collaboration is designed to improve convenience and enhance the overall CX by making pet care essentials delivery more accessible and easier to purchase.

PetSmart has announced a new partnership with delivery platform Skip, giving Canadian customers direct access to over 15,000 products—from premium pet food and litter to toys, grooming tools, and accessories—available for on-demand delivery through the Skip app.

The collaboration is designed to improve convenience and enhance the overall CX by making pet care essentials delivery more accessible and easier to purchase. This move aligns with growing consumer demand for seamless, at-home retail experiences that save time without sacrificing choice.

Skip’s latest campaign spotlights the new partnership with a humorous ad featuring actor Jon Hamm, who is seen walking through a store and telling another shopper he “shoulda skipped it” after watching them struggle with a large bag of pet food—driving home the convenience message.

“Partnering with PetSmart is a big move in our mission to become Canadians’ go-to destination for everyday convenience,” said Paul Sudarsan, VP of Retail and New Verticals at Skip.

“We’re creating a retail experience where getting what you need, whether it’s dinner, groceries, or dog food, is fast, easy, and hassle-free. Now Canadians can sit and stay, while we handle the fetching.”

By integrating PetSmart’s wide-ranging catalogue into its delivery ecosystem, Skip is helping to eliminate friction from the pet product shopping journey—offering quicker delivery, fewer store visits, and a more flexible CX tailored to busy lifestyles.
