Tamworth Co-op Launches Rapid Grocery Delivery Service

Tamworth Co-op has launched a rapid grocery delivery service powered by Snappy Shopper, offering customers deliveries in as little as 30 minutes.

Tamworth Co-op, a UK retail cooperative, has launched Tamworth Delivered, a new rapid grocery delivery service powered by Snappy Shopper, allowing customers to receive groceries from their local store in as little as 30 minutes.

The service complements existing aggregator platforms while offering customers a more direct, locally connected shopping experience. Built on Snappy Shopper’s white-label ecommerce platform, the solution combines digital ordering, store fulfilment, and integrated delivery capabilities to create a seamless online shopping journey.

The platform also mirrors the in-store experience by showcasing the retailer’s full product range, local promotions, and member offers online.

Expanding Convenience Through Local Delivery

“Qcommerce is no longer just about speed; it’s about giving shoppers greater flexibility and ensuring retailers are present wherever customers choose to shop. Tamworth Delivered gives customers a direct way to shop with their local Co-op online, while enabling the society to grow digital sales, increase basket sizes and strengthen customer loyalty,” said Greg Deacon, Vice President, Snappy Shopper.

Last-mile delivery is supported through Snappy Shopper’s integration with Nash’s delivery network, helping stores efficiently fulfil and deliver customer orders.

Supporting Customer Choice

“Shoppers want more flexibility than ever before, and this launch allows us to bring the convenience, value and service of our local stores directly to their doorstep. By partnering with Snappy Shopper, we’re making it easier for customers to shop with us whenever and however they choose,” said Dan Welsh, Chief Executive Officer, Tamworth Co-operative Society.

As retailers continue to invest in convenience-led experiences, rapid delivery services are becoming an important tool for improving customer accessibility, supporting loyalty, and meeting growing demand for flexible shopping options.
