IKEA Opens First Pop-Up Store in Northern Ireland

The pop-up store by IKEA will remain open until spring 2026, serving as a hub for personalised planning services, home furnishing inspiration, and online order pickup.

IKEA has opened the doors of its first pop-up store in Northern Ireland, at The Boulevard in Banbridge. The 250 sqm location reflects the retailer’s strategy to bring the brand closer to where people live, work, and shop.

The pop-up will remain open until spring 2026, serving as a hub for personalised planning services, home furnishing inspiration, and online order pickup. It offers a curated selection of 150 home furnishing accessories available for immediate takeaway, spanning kitchen, bedroom and living room essentials.

IKEA’s planning specialists will be on hand to support customers in designing their dream spaces, whether it’s creating a fully customised kitchen, reimagining bedroom storage with the PAX wardrobe system, or tailoring solutions for flexible and space-saving living.

A fully branded Collect Near You point enables customers to drop in and collect their online orders. This complements existing locations in Ballymena, Limavady, and Dungannon.

The new store offers inspiring and affordable home solutions, and our Collect Near You point means customers can access our full product range online and collect their orders close to home.”

“We’ve had such a warm response from our first visitors today, and we look forward to welcoming even more customers in the coming weeks.”
