MSix&Partners To Handle Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger Media Accounts

The move is the culmination of a review process kicked off in October last year which aimed to find one single agency to work across both brands’ media planning.

PVH, an owner of iconic fashion brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger has selected British agency MSix&Partners to oversee the brands’ media planning and buying for North America. The move is the culmination of a review process kicked off in October last year which aimed to find one single agency to work across both brands’ media planning and buying on the North American market, excluding Canada.

According to Campaign, WPP’s-owned MSix&Partners was pitted against VaynerMedia and SparkFoundry in the final stages of the competitive pitch process, with UK consultancy Creativebrief overseeing the review. The news comes with Calvin Klein currently mired in controversy following accusations of sexual objectification over its latest ad featuring ‘The Bear’s’ Jeremy Allen White, in which the actor is shown wearing nothing but a rather small pair of white boxers.

The fashion brand also found itself among the headlines earlier this month after an out-of-home ad featuring singer-songwriter FKA Twigs was banned by the ASA for ‘sexual objectification’. Parallels have been drawn between this creative and the as-of-now still running Jeremy Allen White ad, with FKA Twigs personally calling out the ASA on social media accusing the regulator of ‘double standards’.
