Odigo Acquires Akio

With Akio’s strengths in telephony, digital channels, and AI analytics, Odigo expands its technology portfolio, including its Agentic AI platform that helps automate and optimise customer interactions.

Odigo, a European provider of Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solutions and a pioneer in Customer Experience as a Service (CXaaS) in Europe, has announced the acquisition of Akio

Supported by Seven2, Odigo’s majority shareholder since 2020, this transaction is fully aligned with Odigo’s mission: to improve the effectiveness of interactions between brands and their customers.

Akio is a French software company that provides CCaaS solutions for SMEs and mid-market businesses. It is known for its use of artificial intelligence in areas such as customer feedback analysis, reputation management, and agent performance improvement.

Jean-Michel Breul, Co-CEO of Odigo, “This acquisition reflects the natural consolidation of a rapidly transforming market and marks a key milestone in building a European leader in the CCaaS and CXaaS space.”

“Together, we combine innovation, AI-powered customer engagement solutions, expertise and proximity to offer our clients comprehensive coverage of the customer experience market, from SMBs to large enterprises.”

The move strengthens Odigo’s position in the growing CCaaS market, driven by AI adoption and the need for greater data sovereignty across Europe. The combined capabilities will create a full-service offering, from mid-sized contact centre solutions to large-scale CXaaS platforms, serving thousands of users.

With Akio’s strengths in telephony, digital channels, and AI analytics, Odigo expands its technology portfolio, including its Agentic AI platform that helps automate and optimise customer interactions. The integration enhances omnichannel capabilities across email, chat, WhatsApp, and Rich Communication Services (RCS).

Patrick Giudicelli, Founder and President of Akio, said, “Joining Odigo means joining a French company that shares our values of customer proximity and sovereignty. It also enables us to give a new dimension to our innovations in AI and analytics.”

“For all Akio teams — and personally — continuing this journey is a unique opportunity to help create a European champion in customer experience. The complementarity of the offerings, the continuation of investments in Akio solutions for the CCaaS market, and our shared vision of a market accelerated by AI all form a coherent whole to serve new customers.”
