Ovation Launches Tools to Improve CX

Ovation supports the guest experience for many restaurant locations, helping them recover guests in real time, boost online reviews and gain operational clarity.

Ovation, a guest experience platform for multi-unit restaurants, has launched several tools to help operators measure, manage and improve guest experience, including Competitive Pulse. 

The feature allows operators to compare their guest experience with up to five competitors at each location. The data comes from public online reviews and is categorised by artificial intelligence into 34 restaurant-specific topics.

“Savvy restaurant operators keep a close eye on what the competition is doing,” said Renee Curtis, Senior Product Manager at Ovation. “Competitive Pulse makes benchmarking easy and actionable, so brands can spend less time guessing and more time improving.”

The Summer 2025 release also includes:

  • Review Response Visibility to track how teams respond to public reviews.
  • Smarter User Management with bulk user invites, API access and support for Google and Microsoft single sign-on.
  • Crisp POS Integration to automatically trigger Ovation surveys after a guest order.
