TikTok expands Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) to Germany, partnering with Fiege to offer merchants next-day delivery and streamlined order fulfillment.
Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) is now available in Germany. Sellers on TikTok Shop have the option to outsource storage and order processing for nationwide next-day delivery.
TikTok has partnered with logistics provider Fiege to make that possible.
Even before TikTok Shop launched in Germany, it was already clear that ByteDance’s social platform had logistics ambitions in the country; Ecommerce News Europe uncovered this in late January from various job postings.

TikTok Shop launched two months later in Germany, alongside France and Italy, giving 72 million Europeans access to the shopping functionality. The response to the shopping feature in Germany was initially lukewarm, but this was the case in other markets where TikTok Shop had rolled out, such as the United Kingdom.

FBT with Fiege
Following the United Kingdom, TikTok Shop is now expanding in Germany with fulfillment services, in collaboration with Fiege. “FBT empowers merchants with faster, hassle-free fulfillment, giving them the tools to scale with confidence and deliver an outstanding customer experience”, the companies state in a press release.

After goods are shipped to the FBT warehouse, TikTok handles all subsequent steps, supported by its partner: “Fiege supports TikTok with modern logistics solutions and ensures professional fulfillment services, including fast, nationwide delivery, and next-day shipping across Germany.”
