Trek teams with Gr4vy to integrate the likes of BNPL and local shop inventory in a single checkout experience.
Bicycle manufacturing specialist, Trek, has chosen Gr4vy, a cloud-based payment orchestration platform, to enhance its BOPIS transaction process.
Through its partnership with Locally, an online-to-offline shopping API solution, Gr4vy enables Trek to provide real-time inventory data from its network of retailers. This lets customers check stock availability on Trek’s website and complete their purchase in a single checkout.
John Lunn, Founder and CEO at Gr4vy, said, “Our goal is to give enterprises full control over their payment processes while removing unnecessary complexity. Ultimately, simplifying payments, so merchants can focus on what truly matters – growth.”
Gr4vy also allows Trek to manage online and in-store transactions across multiple merchants of record under a single payment. Gr4vy’s payment orchestration system routes transactions to different payment service providers (PSPs), with the aim of reducing friction and increasing authorisation rates.
Once a purchase is completed, transaction details are automatically sent to Trek and the local retailer. With Gr4vy, Trek has also expanded its payment options to include digital wallets, BNPL, and alternative payment methods. Gr4vy’s no-code platform allows it to introduce new payment methods quickly.
“This partnership has transformed how we approach payments, enabling us to seamlessly integrate options like BNPL and local shop inventory in a single checkout experience,” said Steve Novoselac, Vice President of IT and Digital at Trek.
