Wildfire Launches Cashback on AI-Assisted Shopping

Wildfire Systems is enabling consumers to earn cashback from AI-assisted shopping, integrating loyalty rewards into recommendations from tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

Wildfire Systems Inc., a financial technology platform that powers loyalty and reward programs and shopping companions, has announced the first solution enabling consumers to earn cashback and rewards from AI-assisted shopping. 

By interacting with product suggestions from AI tools – including Google’s Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Perplexity – shoppers can now receive cashback through Wildfire’s browser extensions.

As consumer behaviour shifts toward using AI to shape purchase decisions, Wildfire has extended its platform to monetise this growing phase of the shopping journey, making it possible for partners to integrate loyalty rewards directly into AI-influenced recommendations.

“Commerce is shifting to the point of consideration: consumers are relying on AI to decide what to buy, where to buy it, and how to pay,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Wildfire. 

“Wildfire is there to ensure rewards and affiliate monetisation happen wherever that decision takes place, whether it’s a search result, an AI suggestion, or an agent transaction.”

The new feature is built on functionality that is core to the Wildfire platform, combined with capabilities originally developed for integrating affiliate monetisation and loyalty into AI platforms and autonomous agents. 

With this rollout, those innovations are now being incorporated throughout Wildfire’s offerings, marking a significant step toward scaling AI-native monetisation tools across everyday consumer experiences.

This update capitalises on the rapidly emerging shift in consumer behaviour and reinforces Wildfire’s mission to monetise the full shopping journey, from discovery through purchase, while helping partners capture more engagement, loyalty, and revenue in an evolving AI-driven commerce landscape.

Wildfire’s white-label browser extensions detect brand mentions and product links on web pages, including those from AI tools or AI-enhanced search. When a cashback-eligible merchant is identified, the extension displays how much cashback or rewards the user can earn. 

Tracking and attribution are handled behind the scenes by Wildfire’s platform, ensuring seamless user experience and reliable payouts. This capability is now available for all existing white-label partner extensions and will be a standard feature in all Wildfire-powered extensions.
