Bloq.it makes a major move to expand its smart locker network across Europe, focusing on team growth, market entry, and strengthening its role in out-of-home parcel delivery.
Portugal-based smart locker company Bloq.it has raised €28 million in a Series B funding round, with the investment aimed at expanding its team and launching operations in new European markets.
Founded in 2019, Bloq.it develops scalable and customisable parcel locker systems designed to integrate with any logistics provider. The round also supports the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, as it seeks to consolidate its position in the parcel locker space.
“Our core goal remains to change the parcel delivery status quo. We’re accelerating a new standard for delivery: one that’s efficient, low-impact, and accessible to every logistics player in Europe,” said Miha Jagodic, CEO at Bloq.it.
Bloq.it’s smart locker systems are designed to work with any logistics provider and can be scaled or adjusted to fit different countries, locations, and types of parcels.
“We’re at the core of the transition to out-of-home delivery all across Europe. Despite our growth so far, there’s a clear feeling that we’re just getting started,” said João Lopes, COO and CRO at Bloq.it.
