Uber to Acquire Getir Delivery Business in Türkiye for $335M

After the deal closes, Uber aims to bring Getir and Trendyol Go together to expand consumer choice, create more delivery work for couriers, and support restaurants and retailers.

Uber Technologies and Mubadala Investment Company have reached an agreement for Uber to purchase Getir’s delivery portfolio in Türkiye.

Uber will first buy 100% of Getir’s food delivery business for $335m in cash, on a cash-free and debt-free basis. It will separately invest $100m for a 15% stake in Getir’s grocery, retail and water delivery operations.

The grocery, retail and water delivery assets are expected to be purchased over the coming years, contingent on meeting specific operating and financial performance targets.

The deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, with the food delivery transaction targeted to complete in the second half of 2026. If completed, it would place both Getir and Trendyol Go delivery operations in Türkiye under Uber’s ownership.
