StrongPoint and Iceland Foods Trial AI Order Picking for ECommerce

StrongPoint’s Order Picking solution is designed to reduce picking time, lower operational costs, and support scalable ecommerce operations across grocery retail.

StrongPoint has announced that Iceland Foods will trial its SaaS-based Order Picking solution to support grocery ecommerce fulfilment and improve operational efficiency across stores.

The solution will be used to fulfil all grocery ecommerce orders, including scheduled deliveries and quick commerce orders. The project will begin with a proof-of-value phase in 2026, followed by a broader rollout based on results.

The implementation aims to improve order accuracy, reduce fulfilment time, and support a more efficient and consistent customer experience across online grocery operations.

Iceland Foods operates approximately 980 stores across the UK and employs around 30,000 people. In 2025, the retailer reported revenues of GBP 4.1 billion (NOK 55.4 billion).
