Amazon Launches Summer of Football Storefront

Amazon has launched a Summer of Football storefront and expanded rapid delivery services to help fans access match-day essentials faster.

Amazon, the global e commerce and technology company, has launched its first-ever Summer of Football storefront, creating a one-stop destination for fans preparing for the 2026 World Cup while strengthening its rapid delivery capabilities across the UK.

The new storefront offers official merchandise, collectables, and match-day essentials, along with same-day and next-day delivery for Prime members. The initiative reflects Amazon’s continued focus on convenience and speed as key drivers of customer experience.

The launch comes as the retailer expands Amazon Now, its rapid delivery service that enables customers in select areas to receive groceries and household essentials in as little as 30 minutes. The service is expected to roll out to additional London locations and expand into Manchester and Birmingham later this year.

“Amazon Now brings a new level of speed and convenience to customers, delivering thousands of groceries and household essentials in less than 30 minutes,” said John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager, Amazon.

“It’s the latest example of our commitment to faster delivery, building on the millions of items we already deliver the same or next day to customers across the UK,” added Boumphrey.

Amazon’s Summer of Football storefront includes official merchandise from brands such as Nike and Puma, as well as collectables including mascot plushies, the LEGO Official Trophy Building Set and the Panini World FIFA Sticker Collection.

Customers using Amazon Now can also order everyday essentials ranging from food and drinks to household supplies and health products, helping reduce friction in the shopping journey during major sporting events.

The expansion of rapid fulfilment highlights how retailers are increasingly investing in convenience-led experiences to build customer loyalty and drive engagement. By combining themed shopping destinations with ultra-fast delivery, Amazon aims to create a more seamless, personalised retail experience for consumers.

The company plans to double its UK micro fulfilment network to 10 sites, further strengthening its ability to meet growing customer demand for faster, more flexible delivery options.
