Life360 and Uber Simplify Family Ride Coordination

Life360 and Uber have partnered to help families request, track, and coordinate rides through a single integrated experience.

Life360, a family safety and location-sharing platform and Uber have launched a new integration that lets families request, track, and coordinate rides directly in the Life360 app, creating a more seamless, connected transportation experience.

The partnership combines Uber’s ride-hailing platform with Life360’s family safety and location-sharing capabilities, enabling parents to manage rides for teens and other family members while maintaining visibility before, during, and after each journey.

The integration is designed to simplify family transportation planning and reduce the need to switch between multiple apps, messages, and check-ins.

Creating a More Connected Family Experience

“Coordinating those schedules across different apps and conversations can quickly become overwhelming for families. Through our integration with Life360, we’re helping make transportation simpler, more transparent, and easier to manage for everyone, all under one app,” said Margarita Peker, Head of Family Verticals, Uber.

Parents can request rides directly to a family member’s real-time location within Life360. Pickup information is automatically transferred to Uber, while trip progress can be tracked through both applications.

Improving Visibility and Peace of Mind

“By bringing Uber into Life360, we’re making it easier for families to coordinate transportation while giving parents greater visibility, confidence, and peace of mind throughout the journey,” said Kevin Sung, Vice President of Product, Life360.

The integration provides live trip updates, real-time tracking, and arrival notifications, helping families stay informed throughout the journey. The feature is also supported by Uber Family’s existing safety tools and parental supervision capabilities for teen riders.

As digital services continue to converge, partnerships that bring transportation, safety, and communication tools into a single experience are helping reduce friction and improve convenience for modern families.
