Radisson Launches AI-Powered Real-Time Price Matching

Radisson Hotel Group has launched AI-powered price matching that automatically detects and applies lower third-party rates, letting guests book directly with confidence that they have the best price.

Radisson Hotel Group, an international hotel company operating brands across the global hospitality sector, has launched an AI-powered real-time price-matching solution designed to simplify direct bookings by automatically matching lower publicly available hotel rates found on third-party booking platforms. The new capability aims to improve booking transparency while reducing customer effort during the reservation process.

The AI-powered feature continuously monitors eligible publicly available rates across online travel agencies and other booking platforms, automatically verifying and matching lower prices on RadissonHotels.com in real time. Unlike traditional Best Online Rate Guarantee programmes, guests no longer need to submit claims or screenshots, or wait for manual approval, to receive the lower rate.

“Today’s travellers expect speed, simplicity and confidence when they book,” said Gianni Di Fede, Global Chief Commercial Officer, Radisson Hotel Group. “Price matching is our commitment to ensuring that guests who choose to book directly with us never have to wonder whether they could have found a better deal elsewhere. By automating the process in real time, we are making direct booking simpler and more transparent while delivering greater value to both guests and hotel partners.”

When travellers find a lower eligible rate for a Radisson Hotel Group property through an online travel agency or search platform, the system automatically verifies the price difference and matches it in real time before redirecting the customer to the hotel’s website. The feature is available across the group’s global portfolio and currently supports rates from major booking platforms, including Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, Priceline, Trip.com and MakeMyTrip.

For guests, the automated process removes the need to manually request price matches while providing greater confidence that direct bookings offer the best available rate. For hotel teams, it eliminates the administrative effort of manually processing claims, allowing staff to focus on guest service while providing greater visibility into pricing performance and direct booking behaviour.

The launch forms part of Radisson Hotel Group’s wider digital transformation strategy, which focuses on automating and using AI to simplify travel planning and strengthen direct relationships with guests through more seamless booking experiences.
