Sticks’n’Sushi Taps Shift4 to Enhance Restaurant Payment Experience

Sticks’n’Sushi has partnered with  Shift4 to deploy integrated payment and ordering technology across its UK and European restaurants, helping improve guest experiences and service efficiency.

Shift4, a provider of integrated payment and commerce technology, has partnered with restaurant group Sticks’n’Sushi to deploy its payment and ordering platform across 32 locations in the UK and Europe. The rollout is designed to streamline restaurant operations and deliver a faster, more seamless dining experience for guests.

The integrated solution combines end-to-end payment processing with mobile handheld devices that allow team members to take orders and process payments directly at the table. It also includes Dynamic Currency Conversion, enabling both domestic and international guests to pay in their preferred currency and simplifying the checkout experience.

“As restaurants scale, having best-in-class technology that enhances operations becomes a critical driver of growth while improving service for guests,” said Taylor Lauber, Chief Executive Officer, Shift4.

The technology has been integrated throughout Sticks’n’Sushi’s guest journey, helping the restaurant group improve order accuracy, accelerate payment processing and support more efficient front-of-house operations. The deployment forms part of the company’s strategy to deliver consistent service across its expanding restaurant network in the UK and Europe.

“In the modern hospitality industry, the payment experience is an integral part of the overall dining journey. Shift4’s commitment to the guest experience aligns with our service ethos rooted in Omotenashi – the Japanese art of wholehearted hospitality. We look forward to implementing their flexible, scalable payments infrastructure across even more locations, so we can continue focusing on what matters most to us wherever we are: the guest,” said Andreas Karlsson, Chief Executive Officer, Sticks’n’Sushi.

As restaurants continue investing in digital transformation, integrated payment platforms are becoming an important part of the guest journey, helping operators reduce friction at checkout while improving service speed and operational performance.
