Evri Uses AI to Personalise Parcel Deliveries

Evri is deploying Microsoft AI tools to provide customers with more personalised delivery options and improve parcel tracking and communication.

Evri, a parcel delivery company, is using Microsoft AI tools to improve operational efficiency and deliver more personalised experiences to customers.

The company’s Chief Technology Officer, Marcus Hunter, plans to introduce five AI “super agents” to automate routine operations and help employees, couriers and customers access accurate information more quickly. AI will analyse cloud-based data to provide greater visibility into parcel journeys while helping optimise delivery routes and customer communications.

The initiative is also intended to give customers more choice over when, where and how their parcels are delivered. Agent365, part of Microsoft’s E7 suite, will provide visibility and control over the organisation’s AI agents.

“Everybody talks about personalisation. But we’ve never had the tools to do personalisation properly before. Now we do. So over the next few years, we will eventually be able to give individually tailored, personalised deliveries to our 25 million customers,” said Marcus Hunter, CTO, Evri.
