David’s Bridal Joins AI Shopping on ChatGPT and Copilot

David’s Bridal brings its product assortment into ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, enabling customers to discover products through AI-powered shopping experiences.

David’s Bridal has joined Shopify’s Agentic Storefronts for ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, expanding its product assortment into AI-powered shopping experiences.

Through the integration, ChatGPT users can browse products by silhouette, while Microsoft Copilot users can view collections, available sizes, and colours.

The retailer has also begun auditing its assortment to identify product traits such as silhouette, neckline, fabric, train length, and size range to improve discoverability across AI shopping experiences.

The initiative supports David’s Bridal’s broader “Aisle to Algorithm” strategy to expand digital-first retail experiences and refine how customers discover and shop for products.

Through Shopify’s integration, the retailer can track how customers search and shop for products and identify which AI platforms drive sales. AI chatbot users searching for wedding gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, and special-occasion attire can view product cards with images, pricing, customer ratings, and style descriptions.

“There is a structural shift in how consumers discover and buy, and David’s is helping to lead the way. By bringing our assortment directly into these ecosystems, we’re ensuring David’s is a driving force behind the next era of retail,” said Kelly Cook, CEO, David’s Bridal.

The company said the integration builds on broader AI initiatives, including Pearl Planner, its AI tool for wedding planning and event management. The move also aligns with broader retailer adoption of ChatGPT-powered shopping experiences as merchants explore AI-assisted commerce and discovery.
