Fareportal Enhances ClubMiles Loyalty Programme

Fareportal is expanding ClubMiles with flight redemptions, faster rewards earning, and new member benefits across its travel platforms.

Fareportal has announced a major update to its ClubMiles loyalty programme, introducing new redemption options and expanded member benefits across its CheapOair and OneTravel travel platforms. The company said the enhancements are designed to provide travellers with greater flexibility, improved reward value, and faster access to loyalty benefits.

The updated programme introduces the ability for members to redeem ClubMiles points directly against airfare purchases on most flights. According to Fareportal, the addition addresses a common challenge within online travel agency loyalty programmes by making rewards more accessible and easier to use.

“The ClubMiles program update started with a simple question: how can we deliver more meaningful value to our travellers at every step of their journey. We rebuilt the program to remove friction, eliminate redemption limitations, and make it easier for customers to access and enjoy real benefits faster. We’re creating a loyalty experience that is more transparent, flexible, and truly rewarding for the customer,” said Manish Sharma, SVP, Finance and Fintech Products, Fareportal.

Expanding Loyalty Benefits for Travellers

In addition to direct flight redemption, the programme continues to offer travellers the ability to earn ClubMiles points alongside airline loyalty miles through a dual-rewards model. The company said this approach allows members to build rewards balances across both programmes without sacrificing either benefit.

Fareportal has also introduced more accessible qualification requirements for Silver, Gold, and Platinum membership tiers. According to the company, the revised thresholds are designed to help travellers reach premium loyalty status with fewer bookings compared with many competing travel platforms.

The company is also encouraging greater mobile engagement by offering accelerated reward earnings through its mobile applications. Members who book through the CheapOair or OneTravel apps can earn up to twice as many points as those who book through desktop channels.

Bringing Customer Services into the Loyalty Experience

The programme update formally incorporates several existing traveller services into the ClubMiles framework. Benefits now include automated check-in, internet calling through the mobile app, priority customer support, and flight disruption assistance.

Fareportal said these additions are intended to create a more consistent loyalty experience by combining reward earning with practical travel services that support customers throughout their journeys.

The enhancement reflects broader investment across the travel industry in loyalty programmes that focus on flexibility, personalised value, and customer convenience as brands seek to strengthen long-term traveller engagement and retention.
