Gémo Boosts Omnichannel CX with Algolia AI Search Platform

Gémo uses Algolia’s AI search platform to improve omnichannel customer experiences, search relevance, and ecommerce conversions.

French omnichannel fashion retailer Gémo has partnered with Algolia to strengthen ecommerce customer experiences through AI-powered search and product discovery technology.

By implementing Algolia’s AI search platform, including its AI Ranking solution that boosts popular search results based on real-time customer behaviour, Gémo stated that it has improved digital engagement, achieving a 2.3x increase in conversions and a 160x return on investment. According to the company, Algolia-powered search now drives one-third of its digital revenue.

Gémo is also using Algolia’s Merchandising Studio and AI-based Rules functionality to help category managers independently optimise search experiences, boost products, and tailor campaigns based on seasonality, emerging trends, and changing business priorities.

According to the company, Algolia’s AI Synonyms technology also helps minimise zero-result searches, allowing customers to find products more easily regardless of how they phrase their search queries.
