Papa Johns Launches’ Skies to Pies’ Loyalty Promotion

Papa Johns turns airline loyalty frustration into customer engagement with a limited-time promotion offering free pizzas to eligible Spirit loyalty members.

Papa Johns has launched a limited-time promotion called “Skies to Pies,” offering free pizzas to eligible former Spirit Airlines loyalty members.

The campaign is designed to convert unused airline loyalty into a customer engagement experience through the Papa Rewards programme.

According to the company, the promotion responds to growing frustration among travellers dealing with uncertainty around airline rewards programmes and unused loyalty points.

To participate, customers must send a direct message to Papa Johns’ Instagram account with proof of their Spirit Airlines loyalty membership and a screenshot confirming enrollment in Papa Rewards.

The first 250 verified participants will receive a code for a free large one-topping pizza while supplies last.

Papa Johns stated that the promotion does not include blackout dates.

“Loyalty points don’t mean much if you can’t use them. While we can’t fix cancelled flights or lost membership points, hopefully we can provide a smile and a delicious pizza to those impacted,” said Shivram Vaideeswaran, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, Papa Johns.

The campaign also reflects how brands are increasingly using loyalty experiences, social engagement, and timely cultural moments to strengthen customer relationships and drive digital participation.
