REWE To Go has opened a new 24/7 convenience store at Berlin Central Station, featuring 9 self-checkout terminals to deliver faster, more convenient shopping for travellers.

REWE To Go, the convenience retail format operated by Lekkerland, has opened a new store at Berlin Central Station featuring nine self-checkout terminals. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the new location is designed to provide travellers with a faster and more convenient shopping experience at one of Europe’s busiest transport hubs.

Located at Berlin Central Station, which serves around 350,000 passengers daily, the new outlet is intended to offer fresh products and convenient shopping that fits seamlessly into customers’ journeys.

“There are locations that are more than just a new opening. Our new REWE To Go at Berlin’s main train station is open. With around 350,000 passengers a day, Berlin’s main railway station is one of the most important transport hubs in Europe. Hardly any other place stands so much for mobility, dynamism and being on the road,” said Michael Mayer-Sonnenburg, Vice President, REWE To Go Convenience Stores, Lekkerland.

Mayer-Sonnenburg said the location reflects the REWE To Go concept of offering fresh products, convenience and a shopping experience that integrates naturally into customers’ everyday routines. He also acknowledged the teams from Lekkerland, REWE To Go and DB InfraGO for supporting the store’s launch.

The new store combines 24-hour access with nine self-checkout terminals, helping customers complete purchases more quickly while supporting a smoother shopping journey in a high-footfall transport environment.
