Bilt Expands Flying Blue Loyalty Rewards for Rent Payments

Bilt expands its Flying Blue partnership, enabling Air France KLM cardholders to earn more loyalty rewards through rent payments.

Bilt, a housing and neighbourhood loyalty platform, has expanded its partnership with Flying Blue, the loyalty programme of Air France and KLM, to give eligible Air France KLM Visa Signature cardholders additional opportunities to earn airline rewards through rent payments.

According to the company, eligible cardholders paying rent through Bilt can now earn up to 3 Flying Blue Miles per dollar spent on rent payments, up to $50,000 annually. After reaching the cap, members will continue earning 1.5 miles per dollar on eligible on-time rent payments.

The expanded partnership reflects Bilt’s broader strategy of integrating travel-style loyalty benefits into everyday housing and living experiences.

“Rent is the single biggest expense in so many people’s lives, and the whole foundation of Bilt is that it shouldn’t just be money out the door,” said Ankur Jain, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bilt.

“We built Bilt to be the membership for where you live, bringing the kind of rewards and hospitality you’d expect from the world’s best travel programs straight to your front door. Expanding this partnership with Flying Blue means Air France KLM cardholders can now earn miles on rent even faster than before,” Jain added.

Expanding Loyalty Through Everyday Spending

According to Bilt, the partnership is designed to help customers earn travel rewards through recurring monthly expenses rather than traditional discretionary spending categories.

The programme allows eligible members to:

  • Earn Flying Blue Miles through rent payments
  • Accumulate rewards on recurring expenses
  • Access travel-focused loyalty benefits
  • Combine housing and travel engagement experiences
  • Increase value from everyday transactions

Bilt stated that integrating loyalty programmes into housing payments helps create more continuous and meaningful customer engagement experiences.

Connecting Housing and Travel Rewards

According to the company, consumers increasingly expect loyalty ecosystems that extend across multiple aspects of their everyday lifestyles.

Bilt stated that the expanded Flying Blue collaboration helps strengthen customer relationships by connecting housing, payments, and travel rewards within a single engagement experience.

The company added that combining financial services with lifestyle-based loyalty programmes supports long-term member retention and higher customer participation.

Growing Investment in Loyalty Experiences

The partnership reflects broader industry investment in personalised loyalty programmes, travel rewards ecosystems, and customer engagement strategies tied to everyday spending behaviours.

According to Bilt, loyalty programmes that deliver value through essential spending categories can help brands strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term engagement. The expansion also highlights increasing collaboration between travel brands and fintech-driven loyalty platforms focused on creating more connected customer experiences.
