Aircall is expanding beyond customer communications with AI-powered revenue intelligence and workflow automation through its acquisition of Piper AI.
Aircall has acquired Piper AI, a revenue intelligence and agentic sales orchestration company, to expand its platform beyond customer communications and into automated revenue execution. The company said the acquisition will help sales teams automatically transform customer interactions into actions, insights, and workflow automation across multiple communication channels.
Aircall currently provides AI-powered communications capabilities across voice, SMS, and WhatsApp. With the addition of Piper AI, the company aims to connect customer conversations with CRM systems, pipeline management, deal intelligence, and automated next-step execution.
Connecting Customer Conversations to Revenue Outcomes
According to Aircall, sales activity often extends beyond individual calls and spans emails, meetings, messaging platforms, and ongoing customer interactions. Piper AI was designed to capture signals across these channels and convert them into structured intelligence that helps sales teams manage opportunities more effectively.
The platform automatically updates CRM records, synchronises meeting notes and communication histories, scores deal health, and identifies pipeline risks without requiring manual data entry. Aircall said customers have reported reducing CRM administration time by more than 50% and improving forecast accuracy through enhanced visibility into deal progression.
