VenHub Expands Smart Store Features to Enhance Retail CX

VenHub is introducing new shopping and checkout capabilities to make autonomous retail faster, easier, and more accessible for customers.

VenHub has introduced a series of new customer experience enhancements across its autonomous Smart Store platform, adding mobile web shopping, guest checkout, larger order capacity, and global accessibility features designed to simplify retail interactions.

The company said the updates are aimed at making shopping faster, easier, and more accessible for both local customers and international visitors as demand for autonomous retail continues to grow.

“Our mission has always been to make retail as convenient and frictionless as possible. Our newest technology enhancements represent a major step forward in creating an experience where customers can discover, purchase and receive products in seconds,” said Shahan Ohanessian, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, VenHub.

Reducing Friction in the Shopping Journey

Among the most significant additions is a new mobile web shopping experience that lets customers browse products and complete purchases directly in their smartphone browser, without downloading the VenHub app.

The company is also introducing guest checkout functionality, allowing shoppers to make purchases without creating an account. According to VenHub, these capabilities remove two common barriers to digital transactions: mandatory app downloads and account registration.

The enhancements are intended to improve accessibility for first-time users, travellers, and occasional customers interacting with VenHub Smart Stores.

Supporting Larger and More Flexible Purchases

VenHub is also increasing the maximum number of items per transaction from six to ten. To support larger orders, the platform now includes intelligent multi-bin fulfilment, automatically distributing purchases across multiple pickup bins when needed.

The company said the update is designed to improve customer convenience while enabling larger basket sizes across its retail network.

Additional platform improvements include international support capabilities, enhanced checkout workflows, and global product search functionality that allows customers to search across the entire product catalogue rather than individual categories.

The launch reflects growing investment in autonomous retail experiences that prioritise convenience, speed, and accessibility while reducing friction throughout the customer journey.
