Lidl US is launching a new loyalty programme that offers points-based rewards, personalised coupons, and member-exclusive pricing.
Lidl US, a grocery retailer operating across the US East Coast, is introducing a new loyalty programme, Lidl Plus, as part of its efforts to strengthen customer engagement and deliver more personalised shopping experiences.
Launching on 1 July, Lidl Plus will replace the retailer’s existing myLidl programme and introduce points-based rewards, allowing customers to earn points on purchases and redeem them for free products and other benefits.
The new programme also includes personalised coupons, member-exclusive pricing, digital receipts, and tailored offers based on individual shopping behaviour.
Delivering More Personalised Rewards
Lidl Plus moves away from the retailer’s previous spend-threshold rewards model, offering customers greater flexibility in how they earn and redeem rewards.

The programme is designed to create a more personalised customer experience by providing targeted offers and discounts that reflect customers’ purchasing preferences and shopping habits.
Strengthening Customer Engagement
In addition to rewards and personalised promotions, the Lidl Plus app will provide access to weekly offers, recipes, and digital shopping tools designed to make the shopping experience more convenient.
The launch comes as Lidl continues investing in customer engagement initiatives to strengthen its position in the US grocery market and build deeper relationships with shoppers.
As retailers increasingly focus on personalisation and loyalty-driven experiences, points-based rewards programmes are becoming an important tool for encouraging repeat visits, increasing customer retention, and delivering more relevant customer experiences.
