Akeneo Launches Agentic AI Platform for Product Experience

Akeneo has launched Agentic Ziggy, an AI-powered orchestration layer that helps businesses manage product data more efficiently while improving product experiences across digital commerce channels.

Akeneo, a provider of product experience management (PXM) solutions, has launched Agentic Ziggy, a new AI-powered orchestration layer embedded within the Akeneo Product Cloud. Introduced as part of the company’s Summer Release, the platform is designed to help brands, manufacturers, distributors and retailers manage product data more efficiently while improving product experiences for digital commerce.

Agentic Ziggy enables users to coordinate fleets of AI agents that enrich, govern and orchestrate product data across the product lifecycle. The platform supports tasks such as data modelling, schema mapping, data enrichment, and product syndication, helping organisations manage increasingly complex product catalogues at scale.

The Summer Release also introduces AI-powered image transformations, intelligent syndication error management and an AI-native workspace that enables users to execute product data tasks through natural language prompts. According to Akeneo, enterprise governance features, including role-based permissions, approval workflows and full visibility into AI actions, ensure organisations retain control over business decisions and data management.
