Barcode Warehouse Taps ShopperAI for AI Shelf Intelligence

The Barcode Warehouse has partnered with ShopperAI to bring AI-powered shelf intelligence to UK retailers, improving stock visibility, planogram compliance and in-store execution.

The Barcode Warehouse, a UK retail technology integrator and solutions provider, has partnered with ShopperAI, a provider of AI-powered computer vision technology, to bring AI-driven shelf intelligence to UK retailers. The partnership aims to improve on-shelf availability, strengthen planogram compliance and provide greater visibility into in-store activity using existing camera infrastructure.

ShopperAI analyses live video feeds from existing in-store cameras to identify empty or low-stock shelves and detect planogram compliance issues, including missing or incorrectly placed products. The platform also generates real-time alerts, enabling store teams to respond more quickly while reducing reliance on manual shelf inspections and photographic audits.

“This partnership supports The Barcode Warehouse’s focus on connecting in-store technologies into more integrated operations. Retailers need a simple, scalable way to understand what is really happening in their stores. This partnership with ShopperAI allows us to deliver camera-based shelf and planogram visibility using infrastructure retailers already have in place, helping them improve operational performance and respond faster to issues that directly impact sales,” said Jason Datt, Retail Technology Sales Lead, The Barcode Warehouse.

“On-shelf availability and planogram compliance remain two of the biggest drivers of retail performance. Our platform gives retailers real-time visibility of what is happening on the shelf, enabling faster action, improved execution and the ability to recover lost sales opportunities. By combining The Barcode Warehouse’s extensive experience in retail technology deployment with ShopperAI’s AI-powered computer vision platform, retailers gain access to a scalable solution capable of delivering actionable insight across entire store estates,” said Lanor Daniel, Chief Executive Officer, ShopperAI.

ShopperAI made its UK debut at the Retail Technology Show 2026 in April on The Barcode Warehouse stand. As part of the partnership, the solution will also be showcased at The Barcode Warehouse Innovation and Customer Experience Centre (ICE) in Newark, where retailers can test integrated technologies, explore real-world use cases, and understand how to deploy them within their own store operations.
