Instacart Buys Instaleap to Fuel Global Enterprise Expansion

The acquisition supports Instacart’s strategy to expand its enterprise platform globally and strengthen its presence across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Instacart has announced its acquisition of Instaleap, a grocery technology platform focused on helping retailers manage and scale online operations.

The acquisition supports Instacart’s strategy to expand its enterprise platform globally and strengthen its presence across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Instaleap provides grocery-specific technology, including marketplace integrations and fulfilment solutions, and works with nearly 100 retailers and marketplaces outside North America.

The company operates in close to 30 countries and has processed more than 100 million transactions, bringing regional expertise and established retail partnerships.

“We see a strong opportunity to expand internationally through an enterprise-led strategy that supports retailers in meeting evolving omnichannel customer needs. Instaleap will continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Instacart, ensuring continuity for its existing retail partners.

Over time, Instacart plans to introduce more of its enterprise technologies to Instaleap’s partners, including ecommerce, in-store solutions, retail media, AI, and data capabilities.
