Zoom Invests in UK Market with Immersive Experience Centre

Zoom’s new London immersive experience centre highlights the company’s long-term commitment to the UK as it continues to power digital transformation across EMEA.

After opening its new experience centre in London, UK, Zoom is pledging to accelerate AI-powered communication and collaboration across Europe and worldwide.

The experience centre is a first-of-its-kind flagship facility designed to bring Zoom to life even more. Priding itself on its innovative use of space, Zoom states that the centre seeks to inspire and immerse customers and partners in Zoom’s products, solutions, and values.

This recent news comes in the wake of Zoom launching its Engagement Hub, which opened in August 2023. The hub was designed to provide its employees with a collaborative space to share their strategies and ideas and bring workplace strategy to life.

Zoom is looking to expand its commitment within the UK market. Currently, it works successfully across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with its partners to deliver Zoom services.

The new experience centre offers an all-in-one platform where users can create memorable experiences to inspire customers to return to the platform again and again, harnessing Zoom technology to improve day-to-day working.

Spanning over 18,000 square feet, the facility’s central feature is the Lens Wall, a 125-foot-long ambient fabric wall that focuses on offering visitors an immersive experience. The next-generation discovery showcase supports the world’s first curved LED screen with multi-touch interactivity, providing a 360-degree visual experience that can be customised for each guest during demonstrations and workshops.

The London experience centre is the first in the UK and has been two-and-a-half years in the making. It also follows the company’s opening of its new office in Holborn, the Zoom Engagement Hub, in August 2023, giving employees access to a new engaging office design for a modern workplace in a hybrid era.

“The UK continues to be Zoom’s door to EMEA, and is one of our largest key markets outside the US”, comments Frederik Maris, Head of EMEA at Zoom. “Our latest investment in the region underlines Zoom’s long-term commitment to the UK, where we have already seen the number of full-time employees nearly double in the last three years. The new Zoom Experience Centre is a testament to our cutting-edge technology, and the creativity that Zoom can enable, and raises the bar for our international footprint outside of the United States.”

Zoom customers within the UK range from individual users to large enterprises. Some of these include the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team, HSBC, the WWF and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
