Shapewear brand Spanx has launched its first-ever brand campaign across London, starring body activist, author, model and beauty CEO Charli Howard. The campaign will be unveiled across prominent locations at iconic Tube spots including Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road.
Misha Nonoo, chief brand officer for Spanx, said, “The United Kingdom has always been a priority market for us. Not only have we had an office in Oxford Circus for 6 years, but we also have a growing apparel business with key UK retailers including Selfridges, Net-a-Porter & Harrods.
Shot by acclaimed photographer Cass Bird, it will capture Spanx’s design, focusing on the adaptability of the product, and centring it on how it incorporates with women’s lives. The American shapewear brand recently appointed Caroline Whitton as CEO and Jeanne Jackson as executive chair.
Upon her appointment, the firm described Whitton as the “driving force” behind its digital transformation. She was brought on with the aim of expanding the company’s digital growth plans. Cass Bird has previously filmed campaign’s for brands including Dior Beauty, Tiffany & Co and Banana Republic.
