Ocula has launched a new feature designed to enhance ecommerce product copy that creates best-in-class product pages.
UK-based AI driven ecommerce solution provider, Ocula Technologies, has closed a £4 million Series A funding round.
This includes investments from NYO Capital and Jose Luis Gomes, and follows a £3.25 million led by Praetura Ventures in August.
Gomes brings a wealth of experience from his role leading Google Cloud’s North American Retail & Consumer division. He also holds positions on numerous advisory boards, including that of CapitalG, Alphabet’s independent growth fund.
Prior to Google, he worked at dunnhumby, leading its North American operations.
And the investment marks NYO Capital’s first venture into the European market. The firm says that it is committed to bolstering Ocula’s expansion in the US market, enhancing its visibility and reach in the North American ecommerce landscape.
In tandem with this funding, Ocula has launched a new feature designed to enhance ecommerce product copy that creates best-in-class product pages. The AI driven tool creates search optimised, brand aligned copy at scale, tailored for multi-language support. Ocula platform is used by brands like AO.com, Blain’s Farm & Fleet, Coty and various other retailers in the US and the UK.
“Bringing in industry experts like NYO and Jose is testament to what we have developed and how much potential people can see in our AI product. Optimised ecommerce product pages are critical to achieving profitable growth and our tool unlocks that for clients effortlessly,” said Thomas McKenna, Cofounder at Ocula Technologies.
